PointsBet is offering a prepaid card to allow you to move funds in and out of your PointsBet account. PointsBet has partnered with EML to allow you to fund your PointsBet Mastercard® from a personal funding source. Fees may apply. See Cardholder Agreement for more details.
The PointsBet Mastercard is a prepaid Mastercard. You will be able to use this card anywhere debit Mastercard is accepted. Transactions in certain countries, deemed to be high-risk, may be prohibited by governing bodies that have set regulations and/or financial sanctions. Banks processing transactions originating from a prohibited country will decline the transaction. Prohibited countries vary depending on your state of domicile. In the US, the Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) Resources page maintains the most up-to-date sanctions list. Before conducting a transaction outside of the US, be sure to check the OFAC site.
The PointsBet Mastercard stopped accepting new users on June 30th. Please check your email from PointsBet or contact Live Chat for additional information.
Your physical card will be sent by mail to the address provided during enrollment 7-10 days after the initial sign up process is completed.
Once you receive your physical card 7-10 days upon enrollment, you will need to unlock it in order to make purchases. In order to unlock your card you will follow the below steps:
- Visit the EML Top Up Website at https://pointsbet.emltopup.com
- Log in to your account
- Click on the "Unlock Card" button
- Type in the six digit security code found on the back of your card
PIN: The PIN associated to your new chip-enabled PointsBet Mastercard will be revealed during the process of unlocking your card. Please memorize the PIN, you may be prompted to use this PIN to make a purchase, or utilize at an ATM, etc.
When you visit a merchant with chip-enabled technology, simply insert your chip-enabled PointsBet Mastercard in the payment terminal instead of swiping it. The chip-enabled card will remain in the terminal while the transaction is processed. To authorize the transaction, you will be prompted to enter your PIN or provide a signature. For transactions made over the phone or online, you will need to ensure that you are entering in the billing address that matches your PointsBet account.
The PointsBet Mastercard can be used anywhere debit Mastercard is accepted.
Funds loaded on the PointsBet Mastercard will never expire. The card plastic will expire just like any standard debit or credit card.
In the event your PointsBet Mastercard plastic expires, please contact the number on the back of your PointsBet Mastercard for a replacement. You can view the details on the back of your PointsBet Mastercard or in your Cardholder Agreement.
You can get the current balance for your card at https://pointsbet.emltopup.com or by viewing the card details within your PointsBet account.
A purchase with the PointsBet Mastercard may be declined if the authorization amount exceeds the available balance. If a transaction is declined, you can easily check the available balance at https://pointsbet.emltopup.com. If you are purchasing online, a website must take more than one form of payment if the purchase exceeds the balance on the card. For transactions made over the phone or online, you will need to ensure that you are entering in the billing address that matches your PointsBet account.
If your card is stolen please contact 1-833-778-4780 immediately to lock the funds and to replace the lost card.
If you forget your PIN, you can reveal your PIN by logging into https://pointsbet.emltopup.com.
Yes, all cards are usable at the ATM. ATM operator may charge a separate fee. Fees may apply. See Cardholder Agreement for more details.
You can move funds off of your card and into your bank account by visiting https://pointsbet.emltopup.com. Fees may apply. See Cardholder Agreement for more details.
No, at this time we provide one card per individual.

No, you will not receive paper statements in the mail. If you would like a hard copy of your statements, please print your transaction history from https://pointsbet.emltopup.com.
